Valorisation of Durian Waste

In a feature in Mediacorp Channel 8's program 无限循环, they brought focus to our efforts to upcycle substantial amounts of durian husk waste to produce useful end products of varying material properties.
Our love for Durians can go far and beyond its creamy flesh. We have developed a way to utilize large quantities of Durian husks to allow its deviation from incineration plants. Instead, the raw husks are SQ dried into raw materials and further processed into strong, moldable, light weight panels/forms without the use of any binders, making it a truly green and sustainable material.

We were invited to the A*STAR SME Tech Day 2022 where we presented as Keynote speaker on the topic: “Playing a critical yet diverse role in sustainable food valorization”, sharing the foundations of our business through the essence of our Super-Quick drying technology and how it has enabled our strive towards sustainability.
We were privileged to be part of this event to engage with like-minded sustainability leaders from both academia and industry.

Food Resource Valorisation Awards 2021
It was an honour to be one of the award recipients at the Inaugural 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭, organised by the National Environment Agency (NEA), which recognised our efforts in the upcycling of food waste into high value food resource for human consumption and animal/aquafeed ingredients, which can contribute back to the supply chain in a circular economy using our unique SQ Drying Technology.
It was a humbling and rewarding experience, and we will continue our strive to drive sustainability by closing the food resource loop through innovative drying solutions.
